EMDR

Let your brain and body recover!

What is EMDR therapy?

- EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. It is one of the most researched evidenced based treatments in today's world of psychology! Created by Francine Shapiro, EMDR helps access the brain and body in a different way to promote natural healing qualities. Similar to the way our bodies can heal from physical injury, science has found that the brain can heal psychological wounds in the same way when accessed with EMDR. Your EMDR sessions will help to engage your brain and nervous system in a particular way that uses your own inherent strength to encourage a rapid healing process.

At this point, you may be asking yourself, "well I'm not sure if you would consider my experiences in life traumatic" or "is EMDR and your approach right for me?" I can assure you that your experience is valid, your trauma is valid, and there are EMDR tools that can help everyone, even if you've never experienced a trauma.  I have personally seen no other treatment method be as powerful in obtaining and maintaining long term relief and transformations than EMDR.
