Candice Bieganski

Regardless of training, experience, expertise, etc, research has proven time and time again that what matters most is feeling understood and supported by the therapist you are working with. With that being said, I hope you take the time and allow yourself the opportunity to learn about any therapist you are considering before your first session!

As a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I believe that each person has the potential for healing and happiness. My role as a therapist is to learn about your story and partner with you as we work to uncover and strengthen your core self and identity.

I began my journey as a therapist over 9 years ago. I was personally drawn to the field when I was searching for an understanding of my own family history of addiction and trauma. Throughout my work in various mental health and addiction treatment centers, I found that supporting survivors of traumatic experiences/emotional abuse as well as those striving for freedom from addiction was my true calling. I felt as though these individuals were warriors and it was an honor to be chosen to walk with them in their search for healing!

I strive to create a safe, warm, non-judgmental environment in my practice so please come as you are. You are not your symptoms, rather the outcome of life experiences, both challenging and positive. You make sense even when it feels like you don't! Let's work together to help you gain practical skills that foster a sense of power and control over your every day life!
